UNDER 10 DEVELOPMENT COMPETITION

LASSWADE HIGH SCHOOL, EDINBURGH

Seven gymnasts from Garioch Gymnastics Club based in Inverurie recently took part in the Under 10 Development Competition in Edinburgh. For many of the gymnasts this was their first competition on all four pieces of apparatus – Asymmetric Bars, Balance Beam, Floor and Vault. Considering this their coaches Janet Inkster, Trish Swan and Holly Fromholc felt they did very well and were very proud of their achievements.


8 YEARS

Ashleigh Thomson = 5th Overall

Kerry Smith = 9th Overall



9 YEARS

Catriona Sweeney = 8th Overall

Megan McLean = 18th Overall

Rachel Naysmith = 23rd Overall

Alana Cowie = 25th Overall



10 YEARS

Jemma Ferguson = 4th Overall, GOLD Floor
