Senior gymnast from Garioch Gymnastics Club in Inverurie – Emma-Louise Donald (15) from Oldmeldrum has just returned from representing Scotland at the Voluntary One British Finals in Birmingham.  This is the 2 nd time

Emma-Louise has represented her country at this event and her fourth British Final in total.  Gymnasts from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Cumbernauld joined Emma-Louise in the Scottish team and although the team did not place among the medals against the rest of Great Britain they did have a good competition and made their country proud.  Emma-Louise individually improved on her qualifying score and her position within the team after the regional qualifier in March.

Garioch’s, Hannah Mackay was also due to represent Scotland on the same weekend at the Club Grade 2 British Finals.  Unfortunately, Hannah sustained an injury prior to the event and had to pull out of the competition.  Nevertheless, Hannah travelled with Emma-Louise and their coach Janine Lloyd to the competition to cheer on her club mate and Scottish teammates.
